The Coast Guard Auxiliary National Human Resource Department (H) along with the National Training Department (T) fall under the Coast Guard's umbrella of Readiness Support-FORCECOM. These two Departments, "H" & "T," work hand-in-hand with one another. Human Resources Recruitment effort builds membership and Retention retains existing members by keeping them engaged with many opportunities which are done with Training.

The Department of Human Resource consists of Divisions which are; AIM (Academy Introduction Mission), AUXCHEF, UNIFORM, R&R (Recruitment and Retention), and Development. An Organizational Chart is listed on the sidebar.

The Membership Growth Awards and H Department Literature available from ANSC (Auxiliary National Supply Center) are also part of the Human Resource Department and are encompassed within Division's R&R and Development.

DSO-HR Officers (District Staff Officers for Human Resource) provide through the chain of leadership and management's parallel staffing all the information from the National H Department. The DSO-HR's guidance to Division and Flotilla is crucial for the success of a member.

Each Division within the National Human Resource Department has its own website which has contact information for Branch Chiefs, so all membership can be provided real-time information.
